Speaking out about JKR's antisemitism.
Feb. 13th, 2023 10:04 amQuick question for folks who vocally oppose JKR as a terf, but stay silent on her antisemitism: Are you scared of offending your little fashie friends, or of offending your usually liberal but still somehow antisemitic friends? Or are you, yourself, one of my usually liberal but antisemitic friends?
I'm a cis het white guy who vocally supports everybody else's rights. Antisemitism is actively dangerous to me and mine. (And to you; they won't stop at just killing Jews.) So, maybe y'all could speak out against antisemitism too? Thanks.

I'll add that while goblins are often used by fantasy writers and gamers who are unaware of their ties to antisemitism in general and the Nazis' representation of Jews (grotesque with big, hooked noses) in particular, *Goblins who are in charge of the banks* are a clear, deliberate reference to that stereotype of Jews.
