Something wonderful has happened.

No, not my recent discovery of a lovely, huge beaver lake with a five foot high dam. Better.

No, not the great times with awesome friends. Even better.

No, not the kick-ass party last weekend. Better still.

No, not the many opportunities to help the people I love.

Better than that.

I just found dark chocolate M&M's at Hannaford!!!

I now have my lifetime supply.

(No. Get your own.)

Re: the parenthetical: Dang.

So, how did you come across them?

One would think that answering your question would be utter simplicity. And yet, the circumstancess of that discovery were themselves paradoxical: I was on a deliberate, premeditated mission to impulse-buy some chocolate.

(I had had a nearly unsatisfied craving last night, but [livejournal.com profile] pumpkineve came through with some pudding. Disaster averted! I resolved to be better prepared in the future.)

Hmm, I suppose I was also wondering *where* you came across them, but I'm guessing from your lack of mention that it involves some overlooked stash in some local shop that wouldn't be of use to anyone outside the area (or perhaps anyone at all if you bought them all).

My post says where I found them: At Hannaford. It's one of the two major supermarkets on Central Ave.

Hannaford (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hannaford_Brothers) (formerly Shop'n'Save) has over 1,500 stores along the Eastern Seaboard, mostly in the Mid-Atlantic US.

The dark M&M's were right in the candy aisle, not in a separate display.

Oh, I see. I had mis-parsed "Hannaford" as a geographic location. Well, given that and the comment below, I'll just have to keep an eye out. Nifty.

They are new (again). Not a Star Wars version. They are damn good.

::snerk:: Perfect. I really love those. They're basically just larger versions of the mini-M&M's they sell for baking, and I have eaten entire bags of those.

The best I can make out is approximately "Puoreh": Fertile or productive.

But that's based on what little I remember of how to read, and the help of Morfix (http://milon.morfix.co.il/Default.aspx). I haven't actually studied the language since my return from Israel.

i've taken to picking up the white chocolate ones and forcing myself to leave them in the kitchen. if they come with me to anywhere else in the apartment, i'll eat the entire bag in an evening and not realize it.

You know, blimix. you are going to send me a care package, and you are going to let me have some!!

oh, and my internet is fixed. More details on that later.
Last night I was up until 2:30am doing an epic quest which resulted in my 27th level druid becoming 40th level, and obtainining a Sword of Power: Dragon Slicer (noo! I like dragons) that I can't even use because I don't have the marital or elf feat. I have to talk to DM Paladine and see if I can relevel so that I can use the glowing longsword.

*HUGS* This is one of the reasons why I love you so much. *HUGS*

You love me so much... Because you have a sword you cannot use?

Because you are under the mistaken impression that I am going to part with even one of my dark chocolate M&M's?

Because your DSL is working?

Because I'm silly? *HUGS*

"Chocolate tart"! That is a great double entendre. Hee!

Yes. Yes, I am.
